Hi, I’m Anyaak

I grew up in a community where opportunities were scarce, and genuine guidance was even harder to find. For a long time, I struggled with my identity—I didn’t know who I was or what I was truly capable of.

That all changed when I became part of the Boys to Men program.

This wasn’t just a program—it was a life-changing journey. Through powerful mentoring, sports, outdoor camps, and honest conversations, I found my voice and started to believe in my own potential. I learned that leadership isn’t just about standing in front of others — it’s about knowing who you are and standing firm in that truth.

Today, I use everything I’ve learned to give back—to support, guide, and uplift the next generation. I’m proud to be part of this movement, proving that where you start in life doesn’t determine how far you can go.

MY EXPERIENCES

Before joining the Boys to Men program, I lacked direction and confidence. I didn’t know how to express myself or what path to follow. Through this program, I gained life-changing knowledge—not just from books, but through real experiences. The mentors didn’t just talk, they walked with us. Each session gave me something practical to apply, something real to think about. I came out stronger, more focused, and ready to help others the same way I was helped.

We worked on tasks that reflected actual challenges faced by young men in our communities.

  • 📝 Assignments that built confidence
Every session ended with an activity that pushed me to think critically and apply what I learned.

  • 💬 Mentorship that mattered
The coaches listened, shared their own stories, and helped me realise I wasn’t alone.
